Tuna And Crab Salad Sandwich
Seared tuna mixed folded into a crabmeat mixture, spread on sourdough bread and topped with gruyere cheese
Ingredients
- 2 6oz tuna loin, seared
- 1/2 Cup Crabmeat
- 1 Stalk celery chopped
- 1/2 Cup red onion chopped
- 2 Tbsp. italian parsley chopped
- 2 Tbsp. Capers
- 6 hard boiled egg whites chopped
- 3 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
- 3 Tbsp. dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 4 slices gruyere cheese
- 1/2 Cup butter unsalted
- 1 6oz bag potato chips
Cooking Steps
- Crumble seared tuna and place in a bowl with crabmeat. Stir in celery, red onion, parsley, and capers. Add egg white, mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper; mix gently.
- Spread tuna mixture evenly on two slices of bread. Top with Gruyère cheese and remaining bread slices.
- In a skillet melt butter over medium heat. Add sandwiches to skillet and cook until toasted on both sides. If desired, serve with potato chips.
